Leisure facilities close as level four rules loom
Fitness facilities at Strathearn Community Campus in Crieff were among those closed yesterday in preparation for the country moving to level four of the Scottish Government’s coronavirus protection rules from December 26.
Live Active Leisure, which operates venues across Perth and Kinross, said the “unfortunate” decision would be in force until further notice.

The LAL representative continued: “Gymnastics and Wee Springers classes, which have been paid that will be missed, will be rolled over into the summer block and other activities such as family swim sessions, payas- you- go gym and swim bookings, and football camps will be refunded as soon as possible.”
She went on to add: “We appre c i ate how disappointing this is for our customers, we’re feeling it too, but we look forward to seeing you again once we’re allowed to reopen.
“We’ll continue to share any further updates on our website and social media as well as by email when appropriate.”
Virtual workout ideas are available on the LAL YouTube channel an the online class timetable will run from January 4.
She concluded: “Remember to subscribe and click the bell to make sure you don’t miss a class and, if you enjoy the class, click the ‘Donate’ link at the top of our website to help support us during these increasingly difficult times – every penny is greatly appreciated.”
