When Sony announced that the PS4 Pro wouldn’t have an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive, half the internet wrote it off as a failure there and then. In reality, it’s probably only a small number of people who would’ve used one. But it does mean you’re restricted to streaming your 4K from Netflix and Amazon, whereas the Xbox One S lets you choose between physical or digital. You’ll need decent internet speeds for the latter, and the drive isn’t as capable as a standalone player from the likes of Samsung or Panasonic, but it is cheaper.
