Nokia’s 3310 reboot isn’t the only long-life mobile heading our way this year. LG’S 5.5in X Power 2 packs a whopping 4500mah battery into a surprisingly svelte chassis, albeit one that’s slightly too plasticky.

It’s chunkier than some of its rivals, sure, but this is hardly a bloater. Besides, where do you expect it to store all that extra oomph? After all, 4500mah is over a thousand more than the Oneplus 3T. Even the bleeding-edge Sony XZ Premium on the opposite page only comes with a 3230mah cell.

The downside? A 720p screen, a 13MP camera that’s not likely to be great and a 1.5GHZ processor that won’t set any records… but the end result is enough juice for 18 hours of web browsing, 15 hours of video or 14 hours of sat-navving.
