or a long time, Motorola’s G4 has been our bang-fornot-much-buck phone of choice. But with the well equipped Oneplus 3T showing you can get topend specs for mid-range prices, it’s probably time Moto upped its game. Enter the G5.
FPick up the G5 and you’ll immediately feel the difference from the G4. This is still a rectangle with a screen, but its metal back gives it the cool-touch sensation usually associated with premium mobiles, while its subtle curves and uncluttered front set it apart from most budget blowers.
Boot up the G5 and it immediately feels zippy. A 1.4GHZ octa-core Snapdragon 430 chip and 2GB of RAM take care of business with no noticeable lag. We certainly can’t see this handset struggling to deal with Android’s new split-screen mode.
