Yes, we know the iphone 7 came out in 2016, but it didn’t disappear off the face of the earth after the Christmas lights came down, did it? For many (and we don’t just mean Apple fanboys) it’s still No1, even without a 3.5mm headphone socket.
Newly water-resistant, despite looking hardly any different to the iphone 6, and with a new home button that’s not actually a button at all, it’s a case of evolution rather than revolution – but that’s been the Apple way for a while now. Sure, on pure specs alone it’s eclipsed by more powerful phones, but the finely tuned A10 processor, improved screen a fine camera make for an irresistible package.
