Can the bar ain of the century still hold onto its title?

£399 / oneplus.net

Oneplus’s 3T update didn’t add all that much to the 3 – but it was already the best, so why try harder?

What do you get for your extra £70? A Snapdragon 821 CPU that should make it about 10% faster than its predecessor, nippier RAM, more storage, a bigger battery and a 16MP front camera. Not the kind of specs worth upgrading for but enough to keep it ahead of the pack, despite the price bump.

The 5.5in AMOLED has been tweaked and it now shoots 4K video too. Its ultra-clean version of Android is still a joy to use and it hasn’t lost anything in the build quality stakes. This still feels like a phone that should cost a hell of a lot more than it does.
