OLighting does wonders for phone cameras. Illuminate your subject properly and the sensor will really show what it can do. That could be using a selfie-inspired case with built-in lights such as the Lumee Duo, (£70, lumee.com), or something like Manfrotto’s Lumimuse 8 (£100, manfrotto.co.uk), which comes with a set of filters and can be mounted on the Shoulderpod X1.
