Our tips for selecting and styling your sideboard
Consider what you plan to keep stashed in your new sideboard. if it’s for a dining area, make sure there’s at least one drawer for cutlery and plenty of shelf space for stacking crockery.
think about the visual weight of the sideboard within the room and remember that furniture with longer, thinner legs gives the illusion of taking up less space in a small area. avoid anything too chunky or dark in compact spaces.
arrange your favourite objects and trinkets on a tray as a decorative display on top of your sideboard. Why not create a bar area styled with pretty glasses, attractive spirit bottles and a classy copper cocktail shaker.
