Mix the adhesive as per the instructions on the packet and spread to cover approximately a quarter of the saucer a few millimetres thick. Push the mosaic pieces into the adhesive, trying to keep the colour mix random or until you’re happy with the pattern. When covered, apply more adhesive and mosaic tiles, and keep going until the inside of the saucer is completely covered. Gently wipe the surface and the top edge with a damp sponge to remove any excess grout. Leave to dry for a short time, then gently wipe the surface again to clean the mosaic in the saucer. Leave to dry thoroughly overnight, then place the saucer on top of the flower pot to finish and fill the saucer with water.
