Lay the ladder flat on the floor and figure out which frames fit into each gap between the rungs until you’re happy with the design. Carefully consider the colour scheme of the frames at this point, too, and make sure they’re evenly spaced. remove the glass and backboard on each frame and drill two holes approximately 3-4cm from the edges at the top. Paint each frame and leave to dry before distressing the paintwork slightly with fine sandpaper. Cut lengths of string or twine and push through the holes in each frame to then tie to the ladder rungs to secure. insert photos, artwork and prints before carefully replacing the glass in each frame. Hang on the rungs to display.
