Mini cheese­burger slid­ers

500g beef mince 1 red onion, grated 1 car­rot, grated 1 ap­ple, grated 1tsp smoked pa­prika 2tbsp olive oil 4 slices cheese cut into 4 squares

2 packs of mini bread rolls May­on­naise 4-6 toma­toes, sliced

In a bowl, mix to­gether the mince, onion, car­rot, ap­ple and pa­prika. Shape into 3cm pat­ties. Brush with oil. Heat a bar­be­cue or grid­dle pan to medium and cook for 3 mins on each side, un­til cooked through. Top each with a square of cheese and al­low to melt, set aside and keep warm. Fill each roll with a dol­lop of may­on­naise, slice of to­mato and mini burger and serve on a plat­ter.
