About Me I’m Erica Beanlands, 33, and I live with my husband Paul, 40, and our daughters Kristen, 2, and Taylor, 6 months.

My home A 1960s three-bedroom semi-detached in Leicestershire. Paul bought it in 2006, and I moved into the house in 2008.

When I Moved In It was in a terrible state. There were dated features, such as 1970s stone cladding and a gas fire, and the boiler had been condemned.

And now We redesigned and renovated the whole downstairs, and have gradually added new bathrooms, and a kitchen and redecorated throughout.

Style tip Don’t rule out cheaper stores for designer-look accessories. Shops like Dunelm, George and Next have fab pieces that nobody would ever guess are high street.
