About Me i’m Jenny Hobbs, 26, and i’m an assistant manager for a cath Kidston store. i live on my own with my cat Maisy.
My home a two-bedroom groundfloor flat in Heaton, newcastle, which dates back to around 1900. i’ve lived here since September 2014.
When I bought It the flat belonged to my friend before me and, as i’d always loved her style, i didn’t feel the need to change much. the only downside was that the kitchen felt a bit dark and didn’t have enough storage space.
And now i’ve made the place my own with a new grey kitchen, a woodburner in the living room, plus a nature-inspired statement wallpaper in the master bedroom. i’ve also added my own finishing touches with colourful accessories and painted vintage furniture.
Style tip look in charity shops, vintage stores, car-boot sales and other places you wouldn’t normally shop. You just need to imagine how something could look in a different context, and sometimes all a piece needs is a lick of paint to turn it into something you will love.
