About Me i’m Chantelle Gowerjackson, 33, head of finance for a fashion brand. i live with my husband, Darren, 33, a software manager, and our son, Luke, one.

My home a four-bedroom semi-detached Victorian house in Hertfordshire, where we’ve lived since January 2015.

When I bought It the house was previously owned by a family with three kids. it was well-loved but looked dated, cold and dark.

And now We’ve decorated in rustic, earthy tones to accentuate the period features while giving the house a contemporary edge.

Style TIP Go all-out for comfort. i searched hard for cosy modern sofas as i didn’t want designer ones that would give me backache.
