1 Cut the MDF to the size of the top of the crate. Place the foam on the floor with the MDF on top, draw around it with a pen and, using a hacksaw, cut the foam to size. 2 Iron the fabric, place it face down with the foam on it, centred, and the board on top and fold one long side up and over the edge. Staple to board 5cm from the edge. Repeat on short edges and opposite edge – trim as you go. Place on the crate.
