My ROOM...

-

About Me I’m Tracey Goldstraw, 35, and I’m a chef. I live with my husband James, a grounds keeper.

My home We love rural country life and have been in our two-bedroom ground-floor barn conversion in Newbury, Berkshire, for three years.

My challenge Having lived here a while, we realised there was a lot of wasted space in our large double garage. We thought this would be the perfect area to turn into a large master suite as the bedrooms were quite small and a little dark.

My wish list We both wanted a luxurious new bedroom that would be clutter-free and relaxing but not too feminine, as it had to work for us both. I was also keen for the design to have a slightly organic feel.
