About Me I’m Sharon Brooker, 37, and I live with my partner Cobie Foskett, 39, and our children Kian, 16, Summer, 11, and Pixie, 6.

My home A four-bed extended miner’s cottage near Penzance, Cornwall, bought in October 2008.

When I bought It The house was damp, smelly and almost derelict. The windows were rotten, the kitchen and bathroom were barely usable and the rooms were decorated with horrible wallpapers and harsh colours.

And now We’ve completely renovated the place and added a living room and master bedroom. I’ve filled the house with relaxing pastel shades and an ever-changing, country-inspired look using upcycled furniture and lots of pretty fabrics.
