ABOUT ME I’m Betsy Benn, owner of gift company betsybenn.co.uk. I live in a four-bedroom semi in Cheltenham with my husband andy Williams, an It development director, our son Ben, 11, and our border collie, Willow. We bought the house in 2002.

MY CHALLENGE I wanted to extend the ground floor out into the garden to create a larger kitchen and living space. We also wanted to reconfigure the garage into a utility and storage room and add a further bedroom upstairs.

MY WISH List I love classic Shaker kitchen cabinets with contemporary details, white walls and bold retro kitchen furniture and equipment, with a hint of industrial chic.
