Do it! replace unit handles

1 Remove the old cabinet handles by unscrewing them on the inside of the unit. 2 Measure the distance between the two threaded ‘legs’ or holes on the handle. This is your ‘fixing centre’, and is usually a standard size. 3 If you can’t find an exact match for the old handle, use a backplate or choose a handle with a larger fixing centre distance. 4 If the old holes will be visible, fill them using wood putty. Allow this to dry, then sand smooth. Paint the cabinet before drilling the new holes, then screw the handles in place.
