Road rage stabbing at traffic light

A PASSENGER was repeatedly stabbed in a road rage attack on a motorway slip-road.

The man, 26, was knifed at traffic lights off the M5 near Weston-super-mare on Friday night.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “A dispute had ensued with the driver of another car, in which the victim was stabbed.”

The man was taken to hospital but his injuries were not life threatening.

A 42-year-old man from Birmingham has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
