S midfielder Giovani Lo Celso s they are still getting to grips ose Mourinho’s ideas. Mourinho was thrust into the hotseat in November when he replaced Mauricio Pochettino – and their form has been poor as they face today’s derby against Arsenal. Lo Celso (above) said: “Each manager has their way of playing so over these last few months we’ve tried to take on board the manager’s ideas.

“In some games we’ve done this better than in others but we’ve got four finals still to play to get into those European places.”

STEVEN GERRARD has emerged as a shock target for Bristol City’s ambitious billionaire owner Steve Lansdown.

Lansdown is looking for a new boss for his Championship outfit after sacking Lee Johnson last weekend following a run of nine games without a win. He has drawn up a shortlist that includes

Liverpool legend Gerrard, 40, who has spent the last two years in charge of Rangers in Scotland. Former Brighton boss Chris Hughton, Charlton’s Lee Bowyer and Plymouth’s Ryan Lowe are also in the frame.

But Lansdown believes that Gerrard (left) is the man to fulfil his ambition of mounting a bid to win promotion to the Premier League next season.

LEICESTER are ready to revive their interest in teenager Joe Gelhardt from Championship crisis club Wigan Athletic.

The England U-18 striker – rated one of the best young players outside the Premier League – is set to be sold by Wigan after they went into administration.
