SIR Mo Farah’s wife says seeing him struggle on I’m A Celebrity has left her crying… with laughter.

Tania loved seeing the runner tackle a gruelling trial in Friday’s show which saw him shout in fear as he faced maggots, cockroaches and pigeons.

She said: “I was crying laughing. I just thought it was brilliant.

“I didn’t think he’d react as scared as he did. He didn’t know what was in there so probably thought it was snakes in every box.”

Olympian Mo, 37, also went through hell during the live trial when he had to attempt a challenge with a snake around his neck.

Speaking on ITV Hub spin-off show The Daily Drop, Tania said : “I’ve

been waiting for him to face a snake for years – it’s his biggest fear by far.

“He’s petrified by them. I saw it on his face!”

Back in the camp, author Giovanna Fletcher chatted with presenter Vernon Kay about her wedding day to pop star Tom Fletcher. She then asked Vernon if he had ever renewed his wedding vows with Strictly star wife Tess Daly. Vernon said: “About five years ago. I booked a weekend in our favourite hotel in the South of France… she didn’t know anything.”

Vernon continued: “I gave her a card and it said congratulations on your second wedding day and I said we’re going to renew our vows.

“We went to the reception and her mum, my parents, the kids and my brother were waiting.

“We had such a lovely day.”

Talking later in the private Telegraph room, Giovanna said: “Vernon’s story is absolutely romantic and thoughtful. I mean, Tom, if you’re watching…”
