Ole & Pogba United in putting team first Joe’s stick over switch Pain game for Neville

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has warned no player is bigger than Manchester United – including Paul Pogba.

The midfielder, 27, is fit and firing with goals and assists, despite his outspoken agent Mino Raiola claiming the French World Cup winner is “unhappy” at Old Trafford.

Raiola is once again agitating to move Pogba (right) to Juventus or

Real Madrid next summer.

But as United prepare to face Leeds in a crunch game for their top four hopes today, boss Solskjaer insists Pogba is showing he is a team player.

“Paul was here as a kid in the Under-18s. We signed him early on, he comes with Man United

DNA in him,” he said.

“He knows what we are about. Man

United is about being in a team. I would not stand for anyone thinking he is bigger than Man United because no one is.

“He has got a good attitude.”

Raiola has been a thorn in United’s side since Pogba rejoined in 2016 in a world-record

£89million deal from Juve.

Solskjaer added: “I leave the negotiations with agents to the club.”

JOE JORDAN was a fearsome competitor loved by Leeds fans during his seven years at Elland Road – until the day he joined Manchester United.

Then a switch was flicked and the hero-worship ended abruptly.

None of today’s players were born when Jordan (above) made his 1978 move across the Pennines but little has changed in the eyes of some.

The former Scotland international said: “The worst of it is long gone but you might get the odd comment.

“It’s more banter although they still tell you the facts.

“In the years after I’d joined United the abuse was much worse. That tells you everything about the rivalry.”

THE return of Leeds United to Old Trafford today brings back painful memories for Gary Neville (above).

Approaching the 10th anniversary of his Manchester United retirement, the Sky Sports pundit said: “I played my worst ever United game against Leeds, or my most depressing.

“I was centre-back. Woah, it was a shocker.”

Leeds, then in League One and 42 places below United, went to Old Trafford in the third round of the FA Cup in January 2010 and won 1-0, despite United having Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov up front.

“It was a complete embarrassment,” added Neville.

“We were shocking, absolutely shocking. It was terrible.”
