Karshare in cash-drive joy
Car-sharing platform Karshare, through which people can rent out their vehicles, has raised £1.4million from more than 490 investors on crowdfunding website Seedrs.
The start-up, which works like Airbnb but for cars, had aimed to raise £1million. It will use the cash to help it expand its services across the UK. It currently operates in the Bristol and Gatwick airport regions.
Karshare founder Andy Hibbert said: “After an incredibly turbulent year, it’s fantastic to start 2021 off by smashing our fundraising target and see our investors come together to make car-sharing possible.”
