Time to pull together

Over the past weeks there has been criticism in the media about the way Boris Johnson and the Government have been dealing with the Covid pandemic.

How easy it is to criticise when you are not the one making the decisions. In hindsight there have been some mistakes made but surely when we are in an uncharted situation it cannot be easy.

Nick Ferrari in his article should be ashamed of himself in what I consider a mocking piece of writing towards the Government (“We’ll stay home but deserve real action”, January 10).

Yes the lockdown and what is asked of us is hard, but if we want this terrible time to end we must do what is required.

The same happens in the goalmouth whenever there is a corner to be taken and a scramble of pushing takes place.
