Stars cast a spell in spooktacular thriller
STRICTLY’S stars gave spirited Bpyewrforrimtearnscensaomn ethye Halloween special for an evening that was devilishly entertaining.
And none more so thantilly Ramsay who transformed into a green bride of Frankenstein.
But she revealed having famous parents has made her more determined to prove herself.
The daughter of motormouth TV chef Gordon Ramsay also said her parents have instilled a strong work ethic in her but she insists that judge Craig Revel Horwood is even harder to please than her father.
Tilly also revealed she is “drawing a line” under the row with LBC DJ Steve Allen, who earlier this month made controversial comments about her weight.
Chef and Instagram “influencer”tilly, 19, who began university this month, says of her famous parents: “It’s kind of motivation to want to prove I’m doing my own thing.
“I’m obviously so grateful of the great platform I’ve been given through my dad for all the amazing opportunities that have come my way but I’m definitely loving to be able to show that I’m a different person, my own person and doing my own thing.”
She added: “Both my parents are such hard workers and I’ve always seen that growing up.
“Mum and Dad have always been so busy.we have always had a busy household and they’ve always driven that into us from a young age – hard work. If you want to get somewhere you’ve got to put in the hard work for it and you’ve got to try the best.
“That’s definitely been something that I’ve taken through school, hopefully taken to university [and] Strictly.” Former footballer Gordon, 54,
surprised TV viewers when he shed tears watching Tilly’s first performance on the hit Saturday nighttv show.
He and wifetana have five children.
Asked who is the toughest to please – her father or blunt judge Craig – Tilly replied: “I think they’re both in very different fields and they’re tough in their own rights. For me, definitely, it’s Craig, because Dad is not exactly tough at home.”
And Dad earlier hit back at radio DJ Steve Allen after he made comments about his daughter shape.the presenter, 67, later issued an apology.
Following Allen’s remarks, Tilly issued a statement on social media saying she would not “tolerate people that think it’s OK to publicly comment and scrutinise anyone’s weight and appearance”.
Last night viewers watched her Halloween performance of the cha-cha-cha alongside dance partner Nikita Kuzmin.
Appearing as Frankenstein’s bride, she joined celebrity dancers including Rose
Ayling-ellis, Judi Love, AJ Odudu and Johnwhaite for the much-loved scary special.
The pair scored 35 as judge Revel Horwood said: “Nikita I think you did brilliant job with the choreography. Tilly, how you can look so beautiful painted green, I’ve no idea darling but you danced it well.”
Earlier she told the Sunday Express: “I have had some very positive reactions, it’s been lovely. I’m so grateful for all the support and just loving being me and having fun and hopefully inspiring other people to do the same. Right now, [I’m] just focusing on dancing.”
On the Allen episode, she said: “For now I’ve drawn a line under it. I’m moving on and focusing on what is important.”
