Stabbing victim left critically wounded

A34-YEAR-OLD man is in critical condition in hospital following a stabbing in Glasgow. He was stabbed in an attack involving four men on Ashgill Road, Milton, at about 12.25am yesterday. He was taken by ambulance to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Medical staff said his condition is critical. Police said the attackers were all white and in their twenties. Detective Sergeant John Dowds, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “The injured man had just been dropped off by a taxi in Balmore Road near to Ashgill Street, where it is believed he became involved in an argument with some people in the area. However, he made off into Ashgill Road where he was attacked by four men.”
