Sudden deaths of men ‘unexplaine­d’

THE sudden deaths of two men yesterday are being treated as “unexplaine­d”.

Police were called to a property in the Dunnock Park area of Perth following reports of a death in the early hours of Saturday. An investigat­ion is under way.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The death is being treated as unexplaine­d and inquiries are at a very early stage and ongoing.”

A man’s body has also been found at a house in Renfrewshi­re. Police were called to the property in Greenend Avenue, Johnstone, at around 10.45am yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokeswoma­n again said that officers are treating the death as “unexplaine­d”. Post-mortem examinatio­ns are expected to be held in both cases.
