Sudden deaths of men ‘unexplained’

THE sudden deaths of two men yesterday are being treated as “unexplained”.

Police were called to a property in the Dunnock Park area of Perth following reports of a death in the early hours of Saturday. An investigation is under way.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are at a very early stage and ongoing.”

A man’s body has also been found at a house in Renfrewshire. Police were called to the property in Greenend Avenue, Johnstone, at around 10.45am yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman again said that officers are treating the death as “unexplained”. Post-mortem examinations are expected to be held in both cases.
