THE countdown is well and truly on f or this year’s Edinburgh Internatio­nal Film Festival with the Opening Night film, God’s Own Country, kicking off the celebratio­ns next Wednesday, June 21.

While most of the headline gala screenings have sold out, there’s still plenty on offer for those of us who have left it to the last minute.
