I felt like prize fool after that blunder

Subs: Leigh Griffiths took his season’s tally to 37 goals yesterday – but his form from the penalty spot has been far from scorching.
The 25-year-old has missed four of eight attempts this term. Here MailSport recounts them.
- Celtic 2-0 FC Stjarnan: Stefan Johansen squabbled with the striker over who should take it before the nominated taker missed.
- Ross County 3-1 Celtic: Scott Fox saved a penalty that could have thrown Celtic a lifeline at 3-1 down in League Cup semi.
- Hamilton 1-1 Celtic: Failed to net after firing Celts ahead from the spot as Accies went on to net leveller.
- Motherwell 1-2 Celtic: Griffiths pulled his effort wide but soon made amends with brace.

APRIL 9 Connor Ripley produced the biggest howler of his career before being left even redder in the face by being awarded Man-of-the-Match gongs.
The on-loan Middlesbrough stopper’s series of fabulous saves kept Mark McGhee’s side in the game.
But Leigh Griffiths’ weak shot crept through his legs with 15 minutes left to hand Ronny Deila’s troops a 2-1 victory at Fir Park.
The young goalie couldn’t hide his devastation and claimed he was embarrassed to pick up Man-of-the-Match awards
Griffiths makes up for his earlier misses before McDonald (below) levels for Well
at full-time. Ripley said: “I’m gutted, I feel like I’ve let the lads and the club down. It’s not like me to let something go through my hands and legs like that.
“I’ve never suffered one like that before, not that bad. “The saves I made in the match are irrelevant now because everyone will remember my mistake.
“I’m devastated but I’ll learn from it. I got two Man-of-the-Match awards but it’s bitter sweet. I want to be happy but I can’t. “I feel a bit embarrassed to
get them.”
Well No.1 Connor
