Charlie I’m not just a wildman
Hellraiser Charlie Sheen says he’s desperate to change his public image.
The 50- year- old actor said: “The public had been fed a hectic scenario of my life and I realise I’ve contributed to that.
“But now it’s time to hear the whole story.
“Yes, I bring some baggage with me. But that’s not the whole picture.”
Charlie, who is notorious for his drug-fuelled sexual exploits, says he gets “shame shivers” when he remembers some of the things he has done.
He added: “I might be dr iv ing and suddenly something will pop into my brain that I did – or more usually, I was told I did.”
Charl ie, who was the world’s highest- paid TV actor when he starred in US sitcom Two And a Half Men, revealed last year that he has HIV.
But he says the virus is now untraceable thanks to weekly injections. He’s being treated with CytoDyn’s PRO140 as part of a government trial.
Cha rl ie say s the treatment has helped him clean up his act in time for him to be interviewed by Piers Morgan in London later this month.
He’s also reported to be turning his back on his hectic life in the US – and moving to Mexico.
An estate agent has told how he sold Charlie “a humble l i t t le three - bedroom house” in Rosarito, about 10 miles south of the border.
