Family comes first before boot camp kicks in

-

It’s two weeks until the start of training camp so I’ve been trying to make the most of my time with the family.

We were up at the lake on Tuesday and had some fun there and had the chance to swim and do a few other things.

Then on Wednesday it was time for the amusement park.

It’s a place outside of Charlotte that’s right on the border of North and South Carolina and it’s a lot of fun.

My wife Brittany and kids love the rides and al l that’s on offer so it’s just great.

W e also had some relatives visit us th is week so it’s been all about fami ly. My wife Brittany and I celebrate our anniversary this weekend and although it’s not the exact date we won’t have as much time when the season starts.

So the plan is for us to go up to the mountains and have a babysitter for the kids.

I’ll need to sort out a gift and the details for that after six years together.

Although I’ve been constantly on the move, I’ve also made sure to allow time for kicking.

I’ve been to the stadium and kept that up and used the gym in my basement to work out, trying to keep on top of things.

Tra ining camp starts on July 27 and everything gets so hectic and there will hardly be time for anything but football.

All of the players will be excited to start back at camp and I’m keen to get back at it and do what I love.

I feel like I’ve been hitting the ball well and so that should hopefully translate into success in training.

It’s time to get things going now and I can’t wait for the start of the season.

After last s e a son, I think we can have another successful year.

One of the big things on the news here right now is the different shooting incidents that have taken place.

I know they’ve been discussed a lot in the UK too.

There’s been a lot of discussion but people shouldn’t jump to conclusions.

That’s why we have a justice system.

I’ve been around guns my whole life and I don’t think they are dangerous if the right people have them.

But the wrong people are getting them. There has to be better background checks on who can own a gun.
