Jailed conman’s feud with former ally

-

Fraud mastermind Feezan Hameed Choudhary went to war with a rival gang amid claims one of their key figures tried to seduce his sister.

The playboy crook lost the plot after former crime partner Asif Ali allegedly attempted to bed his sister Nosheen.

Choudhary was so angry that he left the gang – which conned elderly victims in a banking fraud – and started his own syndicate.

The 25-year-old Glaswegian was jailed last week after being found guilty of a £ 113million bank scam that duped businesses around the UK out of cash.

But we can reveal Choudhary – known as Fizzy – played a vital role in targeting OAPs for another gang who were jailed earlier this year.

He worked with the Mohammed fami ly, who were convicted of a £1.3million bank fraud in June.

The crime clan’s violent enforcer Asif Ali was among seven people caged at Bristol Crown Court for tricking elderly and vulnerable people.

Boss Atif Mohammed, 25, was jailed for six years while Ali was jailed for five years and 10 months for his part in the scam.

Ali was a close associate of Choudhary at one time and the pair targeted OAP victims together.

But their friendship was shattered over claims Ali tried to get Choudhary’s sister Nosheen into bed.

Choudhary, from Pollokshields, then went off and started his own gang who specialised in vishing – a crime that involves tricking bank customers into giving information over the phone.

The rift between the two became so bad Choudhary – who has used the alias Sirr Chaudhary – hired a security team to protect him from Al i, who has convictions for fraud and assault.

Their feud involved cars being firebombed and house windows being smashed. Choudhary was also attacked by four men at the Corinthian casino in Glasgow city centre. And Ali attempted to extort £ 5million from Choudhary, claiming he was owed the cash.

A source said: “They used to be close friends but it was over when Fizzy heard Ali tried it on with Nosheen. Fizzy was furious and thought Ali had overstepped the mark in their friendship.

“Fizzy spent months taking money from the accounts of pensioners. He didn’t care that it was all they had. But he decided there was more to be made by targeting commercial enterprises.

“Ali and the Mohammeds knew how much money he was making and Ali decided to try to get £5million from him.”

Choudhary was sentenced to 11 years at Southwark Crown Court in London last Wednesday. His brother Nouman was given three-and-a-half years.

Choudhary was described in court as the gang’s kingpin and they drained £113million from bank accounts between 2013 and 2015. They lived the high life with a fleet of flashy cars and jetset trips.

Around £ 66million of the cash is still missing and thought to be invested in Dubai and Lahore in Pakistan.

Choudhary, who claims to be a music producer and entrepreneur, has visited Dubai and was photographed there with Punjabi pop megastar Bilal Saeed, who posted a photo of the pair and Nouman online.

Choudhary was on the Dubai set of the video for Saeed’s song Paraday and was also photographed with a tiger used in the shoot.

Saeed’s representative Vivek Nayer did not respond to calls yesterday.

But when asked about Saeed’s relationship with Choudhary in August, he said: “Bilal is the No1 Pakistani artist in the world. Are you suggesting he has a relationship with everyone he has a photograph with?”
