WAL FEET SHUFFLE

-

Bournemouth battered hapless Hull to notch a record Premier League win at their Dean Court Stadium.

A Ryan Mason shot deflected off Cherries defender Steve Cook to give Hull their solitary goal. Cook made up for the blunder with a header at the other end seven minutes later.

Junior Stanislas bagged a brace, with goals from Cook, Charlie Daniels, Callum Wilson and Dan Gosling rounding off a real rout.

David Moyes’s hunt for his first three points as the Black Cats’ gaffer goes on after Joe Allen struck twice in the first half.

The £12million summer signing from Liverpool has four goals in five matches – equalling his best ever tally for a season.

The Welsh midfielder’s f i r s t a r r ived when Marko Arnautovic found Allen on the six-yard box to nod home.

Allen’s second was a left- footed half vol ley through Billy Jones’ legs.

Moyes said: “I didn’t think we played as bad as the 2- 0 score suggested.”

And the game ended with a hectic 20 minutes – after Granit Xhaka’s reckless challenge on Swansea’s Modou Barrow brought a red card from referee Jon Moss – Bradley’s side maybe should have equalised.

It was that kind of day at the Emirates.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believed his side made hard work of Bradley’s boys and praised Walcott.

He said: “I have some mixed feelings because it looked at some points comfortable and then it never was.

“We could never capitalise on the two-goal cushion but at least we got the three points.

“Theo could easily have had a hat-trick, maybe even four.

“He scored two goals which is very encouraging and he is much more resilient.”

Bradley’s hopes of a dream start were quickly ended.

In the 27th minute, Walcott was alert enough to capitalise on hesitant defending from Jordi Amat to bundle the ball past Lukasz Fabianski.

More poor defending allowed Walcott to score a second in the 33rd minute when Swansea
