Family grows as dad ties the knot

Andy Murray will gain three step- sisters when his dad William weds this weekend.

Following the birth of daughter Sophia in February, the tennis world No1 is looking forward to formally welcoming more ladies into his life.

William, 62, will tie the knot with Sam Watson, 51, his partner for more than 12 years.

She will have her three daughters Brogan, 22, Caitlin, 20 and 16-year- old Erin as bridesmaid­s at the wedding.

Wimbledon champion Andy, 29, and older brother Jamie, 30, the world doubles No1 are both looking forward to the event.

Following last weekend’s ATP World Tour Finals triumph at the London O2, Andy revealed how he was looking forward to letting his hair down.

Shop manager William got down on bended knee to propose to Sam on Christmas Eve 2014 during a romantic beach walk.

Friends said Brogan, a pharmacist, helped William pick the engagement ring for her mum and she and her sisters were thrilled he had finally popped the question.
