HEAD HEAD TO

-

Jonny Hayes v Mikael Lustig

This could be where Dons look to win the cup with Hayes aiming to cut inside on to his deadly left foot against Lustig.

Hayes has not quite hit top gear as a scoring threat yet this season with only three goals but he loves the wide open spaces of Hampden.

Lustig had a tough time against Barca star Naymar in midweek and has never been the quickest. If the Dons can get Hayes one on one against him they could get real joy.

Graeme Shinnie v Tom Rogic

Shinnie has been a revelation in midfield for Dons alongside Kenny McLean.

Twice in the run up to the final his deadly crosses have brought crucial goals.

Eight bookings to date in the campaign tells you he also has a combative edge.

And he will have a battle on his hands trying to stifle the creativity of Aussie ace Rogic who has scored eight goals this season and who can slice open defences with a pass.

Adam Rooney v Jozo Simunovic

Rooney rode his luck in the semi-final against Morton when he powered home a header in the 2- 0 win.

The striker was offside but what he showed was his sense for the big occasion and his predatory instinct.

Simunovic has struggled with injuries since his £5.5m capture from Dinamo Zagreb but is now finding his feet.

If the Croat can snuff out Rooney then Celtic will have one hand on the trophy.
