Pregnant girlfriend
I cry every single day
The pregnant girlfriend of Corrie McKeague has poured out her anguish over the missing RAF gunner in a series of heartbreaking social media posts.
“I hurt every day. I cry every morning and night,” said April Oliver, 21. “I’ve never missed anyone so bad. The pain is unbearable. No one understands the pain or hurt of missing the person you love every second of the day and night.”
Corrie, 23, vanished during a drunken night out eight miles from his base last September.
Last Sunday his desperate mum Nicola Urquhart, who has blasted the police investigation, led her own unofficial search with a 100 volunteers, dogs and drones.
And personal trainer April, expecting his baby later this year, has revealed her own despair on Instagram. “I try my hardest to hide this and be strong, but it’s not always possible,” she said.
“I don’t care what has happened, I just want you home. You’re my best friend and I need you. You promised you would never leave me. I love you Corrie please come back to me. Xxxx”.
Corrie, based at RAF Honington, Suffolk, disappeared in Bury St Edmunds town centre at 3.25am on September 24.
After a night out with pals, he was last seen on CCTV wandering alone through the town centre after visiting a takeaway and falling asleep in a doorway.
His mobile phone signal was later traced to a landfill site 13 miles away.
Corrie’s mother led her own hunt over a five-square mile area mapped out by specialist investigators, but nothing was found.
