Home comforts for love-split star Scarlett
I’m a Celebrity winner Scarlett Moffatt was comforted by family and friends yesterday after her love split.
The Gogglebox star, 26, headed home to see her parents, just days after it emerged she and boyfriend Luke Crodden had broken up.
She had heart- to- heart chats with mum Betty, 46, dad Mark, 50, and other family members in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
Scarlett also hung out with her dog Bonnie.
And she enjoyed time out with her close circle of pals. Updating fans on Facebook, she said it was “wine time” with two of her girlfriends.
The aspiring TV presenter hasn’t spoken publicly about her break-up with Luke, 28, whom she dated for a year.
The pair had moved in together in London last month but it’s believed her hectic schedule had made it hard for them to spend time together.
Scarlett told pals she still hopes they’ll remain friends.
A source said: “She’s not going to get over Luke in a day. They had talked about marriage and the future a lot and splitting up has been hard for both of them.
“She’s got an incredibly close group of pals and ex t remely suppor t ive parents, so they are rallying round and really making things easier.”
After Scarlett was crowned queen of the jungle in December, she told hairdresser Luke “I love you” when he appeared on a video link on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity spin-off show, Extra Camp.
Luke was at the National Television Awards which Scarlett co- hosted with Dermot O’Leary last month. But she went on the red carpet with her dad.
She has plenty of work lined up to take her mind off the split. Scarlett will co-host a TV pilot with funnyman Alan Carr and is fronting a revamp of dating show Streetmate.
