AA zoom back into top gear

AA patrols have been voted Britain’s best roadside repair service.

In a survey of the f ive biggest breakdown firms, the AA pushed main rival the RAC into fourth place.

The smaller and cheaper GEM Motoring Assist was second after topping the same poll for three years.

The annual survey of 50,000 drivers for Auto Express rates breakdown f irms on speed, success rates and overall knowledge and friendliness.

Third place went to Britannia Rescue, while Green Flag finished bottom after being criticised for being too slow and unfriendly.
