Gear up for divorce deal

I am divorcing my wife but we have a shared car which she wants to keep. The problem is the finance is in my name as she is a poor credit risk. The loan firm won’t transfer it over and the contract still has two years to run. How do we solve matters? Either pay it off as part of the divorce or make provision for you to meet the instalments until the end of the contract. You are liable and it would be your credit rating that would be affected if you stopped the payments.
