Kilbirnie, Ayrshire After going to Kenya in 2015 to help the charity Vision Africa, the teenager met a group of girls at the Seed of Hope project in Nairobi who wanted to start up a small bakery business once they graduated.

Bethan helped them with a business plan and left them a start-up fund, which sadly they never got. When she discovered this on her return to Kenya last year, she took them to the nearest mall and bought an oven and equipment for their bakery.
