Don’t let car drop in value

Many drivers are unaware that bird poo can quickly corrode bodywork, even if it has been waxed and polished, a study has found.

Only a small number of motorists said they would immediately remove it.

Halfords’ Rachel Davies said: “Bird droppings can cause expensive damage to paintwork and affect the vehicle’s value. Droppings should be cleaned off as soon as possible.”
