Paul can cap it off
Paul McMullan hopes his first Scotland Under-21 call-up can help him sort out his future at club level.
The Celtic winger (right) is out of contract this summer.
He has hit a rich vein of form on loan at Dunfermline this season and the Pars want him on a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
But the 21-year-old reckons a cap against Estonia on Tuesday will boost his options for next term.
He said: “It was my last chance to get recognised so it’s great that I got a call-up. With my contract at Celtic running out, it has come at a nice time. It will maybe make people take notice.
“I didn’t have a great year before coming to Dunfermline so I fell out of recognition a wee bit. But I always thought if I could get a good run of games I was good enough to represent Scotland at this level.”
