THE GREENS

In 1989, I left art school and was freelancing by doing posters for clubs and portraits of people’s pets.

I got introduced to guys putting a comic together, Electric Soup. They said: “Just write a story, draw it and bring it in.” So I thought, ‘I’ll do a funny Broons story and make it over-the-top.’

The editors said we had to change the name, so it became The Greens.
