Bosses call in police after discovery

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service said: “There have been very few occasions when drugs are found within court buildings.

“The SCTS take any such incident very seriously. As happened on this occasion, the police are immediatel­y contacted.”

Two years ago, a cleaner was caught dealing heroin in the court where she worked and was jailed for 15 months.

Frances McIlloney, 44, from Ayr, was acting as a mule for her son.

But police were tipped off about the scheme – and arrested her as she walked into Ayr Sheriff Court.
