STAC POLLAIDH, North-west Highlands

-

This is one of the best known and most popular mountains in Scotland, its steep pinnacled ridge often likened to a porcupine.

There is a short circular walk with spectacular views over Assynt.

There is also the option of climbing to the summit ridge and even to take a tricky scramble along the fine ridge to the true summit.
