Aidy alert for Lions

Aidy Boothroyd insists his England Under-21s must improve after an opening set-back at Euro 2017.

His Young Lions could only draw 0- 0 with Sweden on Friday and must now beat Slovakia tomorrow to keep their hopes alive.

Boss Boothroyd said: “We were a bit nervy and I’m not satisfied because I want to win every game.

“What’s important is you keep focused. It was a fair result in the end and we can certainly play better.”
