John McGinn has claimed rivals Hearts blundered last season by bringing in players who couldn’t cut it.

Jambos manager Ian Cathro shook up his side in the January transfer window by hiring nine recruits.

But Hibs ace McGinn knew it would backfire on the new Tynecastle gaffer.

And he insists many of them simply could not handle it.

McGinn will lead Hibs back into top-flight battle this summer following their Championsh­ip title success.
