Fall climber is airlifted

A woman injured in a cliff fall was airlifted to hospital by helicopter.

The 25- year- old was climbing at Stonehaven, Kincardineshire, on Friday night when she fell.

She wa s t a ken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but her injuries are not life-threatening.

An RNLI spokesman said: “She stumbled and fell backwards on to the rocks.”
