Driven mad by cash loss

A dopey driver lost €10,000 after driving off with a wad of cash on his car roof.

The cattle farmer realised a bag with the money inside was gone – with notes scattered over the road behind him – minutes into his trip in La Coruna, Spain.

Police used CCTV to identify motorists who had picked up cash from the roadside. Just over half the money has been recovered.
